Rear Noise Question
« on: October 28, 2013, 09:18:46 PM »
I've got a lot of noise coming from my rear suspension, but my car is too low to get under and lube up. Would this be something yall can do, and if so how much?

Year and model of car? Which suspension do you have?

Most of us drive slow Volkswagens so the main function they serve is to drive around town and look pretty.

Its an 04 R32, with bilstein shocks and H&R springs.

I'd want $40, but I'd hate to charge you for something that you can easily do yourself. I'm going to jack-up the rear and spray some silicone grease on the bushings. Most likely, your bushings are worn. The grease may get rid of the noise for a bit, but replacing the bushings would be the long-term solution.

Thanks man but i'm gonna pass. I'm looking more to get under it with someone elses input than rather than just lube it up. Ill come back when I have some coilovers though, ill need help with that for sure lol
