I've seen almost everything Mike watched recently. Regarding The Hobbit: BOTFA, it was too real in 3D. It looked less like a magical fantasy land and more like actors running around in an arena show. It was impressive as hell, but it took me out of the movie.

Most of us drive slow Volkswagens so the main function they serve is to drive around town and look pretty.

I saw it in regular digital, but I can't really say too much about the whole movie as I was in the lobby entertaining Ethan while most of the main war were going on. The beginning dragon scene was cool and the last one on one battle on the ice was pretty awesome.

Neighbors and The Interview were both funny enough to warrant a viewing at home.

Lucy. Scarlett Johansson. Hot.
If you liked that one, you should see Under the Skin.  Very '70s sci fi, plus full nudes of SJ.

Saw Into the Woods last night. Not sure if it was the quality of sound or the script not caring about rhyming like most musicals, but it wasn't that great. It was somewhat boring. I give it a 3 out of 5.

Casey loves Into the Woods and she thought the movie was boring as hell. The song sung by the two princes was hilarious though.

It was. I thought the song sung by the little Jack was the best.

Gone Girl....that was some crazy shizz and the longest I have sat still for a movie in quite a while so I will say I was intrigued.

I thought it was okay. My wife hated it.

List of movies I've seen in the last month or so...

Revenant - loved it
The Martian - loved it
Sicario - loved it and I love Emily Blunt
Creed - liked it
The Good Dinosaur - It was alright. I expected more with all the advertising I saw last year.
Straight Outta of Compton - muthafuckin tite yo!
The Hateful Eight - loved it, wife hated it.
Everest - Pretty good.
Pan - weird rendition, but I liked it
No Escape - thrillin, but the suspense made me mad. haha
Sisters - Didn't like it at all. I expected something better from AP and TF
In the Heart of the Sea - Loved it.

Saw Thor first week it came out with my boys. I really liked the change the new director made with it. I wouldn't want that style for every movie though.
